Hey! You Are Enough! Believe it!

Good morning family, its been a crazy week, but one in which ive been holding high in regards and in prayer.

I’ve been meaning to discuss with you all this one for a long time but I’ve struggled to think how I can actually flesh this one out into a sermon post. The main premise is simple: whatever you would like to achieve, whatever you want in life, whoever you want to be: You Are Enough. The constant theme here is, all you need is HE who believes in You, Our lord…In this sermon, its a given that all you need is the Lord, we are concentrating on the spirit in you and in all you need is you. You’re the temple of the spirit of the Lord!

We go through life thinking that if we get X then we are going to be happy. If we make enough money or have a flashy enough car then we can attract a desirable partner into our lives. If we could just get this or do that then everything would be perfect. Well guess what? You don’t need anything…..taking care of HIS business he will take care of yours!

Life Goals and Our Own Drawbacks
I’ve never discussed this before, but it’s something that’s been on my mind for a long time. I’ve found methods that work and methods that simply add to the clutter of our already hectic lives.

As part of this journey, I keep an electronic journal, a sermon of ideas which contains 3 columns plus notes which apply to me personally: Where I Was, Where I Am, Where I Want to Be and any extra stuff I might want to remember. So for example, in regards to my career it might be:
Where I Was: In a dead-end job that I hated (years ago…Arbys;) )
Where I Am: Working full-time on my own time
Where I Want to Be: Serving the Lord and motivating all who love him always.
The reason I say this is a sermon on ideas, is because many of my life goals; goals that probably apply to most of you. Aspirations for relationships, health, and wealth. When looking at ‘Where I Am’ in regards to ‘Where I Want to Be’ I noticed some recurring drawbacks that aren’t created by anyone but ME!! Hello!! I looked at them and always thought that I needed something else to happen for the ambition to occur.

For example, instead of wanting multiple (open and non-serious) relationships and going for that goal, I used to think: “OK so I’m going to focus on my business first so that I can make good money and buy large house and a big car. Then, I’m going to work on my health so that I look better and it’s more likely that people will fall into my life“. Sorry, but it doesn’t work that way! Hear me closely, If you’re happy to wait years to achieve your goals that may or may not come true then that’s up to you. However, That’s not what the Lord says! In fact Seek ye first the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness and all these things shall be added onto YOU!!!! Seek HIS face in all you do and realize, you’re the temple, you’re the embodied spirit, It’s in you Now to achieve! You are enough…Believe and achieve!

You Are Enough
Let’s put that statement to the test shall we. Below I’m going to outline some common goals that people have and some common beliefs around them and see if you relate to any of them.

False Belief No.1) I can’t have an attractive partner because I’m (any or all of the following may apply):
Not attractive enough
Don’t have enough money (common belief for men)
Don’t have the right personality

False Belief No.2) I can’t life a live a life of financial abundance / become wealthy because:
I’m not smart
I don’t have the grades or qualifications needed
I don’t know what I want to do in life
That kind of thing doesn’t happen to people like me

False Belief No.3) I can’t live happily or be at peace because:
I was brought up in a difficult environment
Too much has gone on in my life
My current situation just wouldn’t allow for it
There’s too much going on in my head

Ok, here we go! Unless you are terminally ill and don’t have long to live, all of these beliefs are completely irrelevant. IRRELEVANT!!! You can attract wealth!, health, peace of mind and relationships into your life – period. In fact, even if you are terminally ill you can attract these things into your life, especially happiness and peace!!!! C’mon people!

Deut 8:17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” :18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.

1 Chr 29:12 Wealth and honor come from you (God); you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.

1 Sam 2:6 “The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. 7 The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. 8 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor.

2 Chr 32:29 He built villages and acquired great numbers of flocks and herds, for God had given him very great riches.

Prov 10:22 The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.

WE GOT THIS!!!! Praise the Lord! Glory!!

Correct Belief No.1) Money and looks are totally irrelevant when it comes to ‘attracting’ a partner into your life, believe me or not: attraction is not a choice. You may not be able to get that ‘one special person’ that you want, but when you take on reality and realize everything is abundant, that is not going to affect you.
(There are examples of this all around you!!!! Open your mind and heart and prayerfully request compatible relationships from the Lord and just watch out! 😉

Correct Belief No.2) Did you know that over 50% of CEO’s in the UK do not have any college education!!!! The owner of Marks and Spencers (UK retail store) built his business to be worth hundreds of millions of pounds from nothing before selling it on. There are plenty examples of this….Don’t fall into that NO EDUCATION TRAP!!! Of course you need to know what you love, do what you love, surround in love, protect what you love!!! And Hit it and Hit it Hard!!! I’ve done extremely well on this principle!

Correct Belief No.3) Happiness and peace of mind are right here, right now. The reason that we struggle with this is because we always look for things to make us happy. Things make you happy for a short time and mostly without reason…where Loving self, loving what you do and loving the Lord, finds you happiness for many seasons.

In Summary
Whatever it is you want in life, go for it. Believe you can achieve it. If this short sermon didn’t help then take a look at how you can begin to remove your self-limiting beliefs. In theory, Personal Development should be thought of as Personal Diminishment. It’s all about taking away the things that are holding us back from following our dreams and living the life we want to live. Put him first and watch the blessings happen!!! Hear me clearly, put your thoughts and works in Him and he will lead the way, he is in you!!! You are enough to do anything you want to do. Accept it; if you need proof then BECOME that proof. Be the shining light that shows others it is possible.

The only thing holding you back is YOU. Cut the freaking cord of self sabotage and stand, live, love, prosper, Grow and be who you dream to be TODAY!!!! He who is greater than he who is in the world is in YOU!!!! YOU ARE ENOUGH!!! HIT IT AND HIT IT HARRRRD!!!!!!.
