What We Believe

WHAT WE BELIEVE
1. THE BIBLE

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. It is God’s letter to us revealing His character, His intentions and His will for our lives. We believe that the Bible is accurate and complete, not needing anything added to it or taken away from it. It is to be used as the final word on our faith, belief and manner in which we live our lives. We believe in religious tolerance and supporting Gods people whomsoever and where so ever dispersed.

2. ONE TRUE GOD

It is our belief that there is one God, existing in three separate but equal persons. Known as the Trinity, we believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of heaven and earth and is the One who saves us from our sin. God has always existed and was not brought into being by another cause or agent.

3. JESUS

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and having lived a sinless life, became the sacrifice for all of us through His death on the cross. We believe that Jesus was raised from the dead in full body and spirit and lives today, sitting at the right hand of the Father. He is our advocate, our savior and reason that we have a relationship with God the Father.

4. FALL OF MAN

We believe man was created good and upright, however man willfully made a choice to ignore God’s instruction. As a result of that choice, man has been separated from God through sin.

5. SALVATION OF MAN

We believe that because of the separation between man and God, man was in need of a savior. God chose to send His only son, Jesus, to be the sacrifice that would reconcile man with God through the forgiveness of sin. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in our hearts that God has raised Him from the dead we will be reunited with God.

6. CHANGED LIVING

We believe that after giving our lives to Christ we will experience a changed lifestyle. This process is known as sanctification. Jesus changes our lives and begins to reshape us into the followers of Christ that he desires us to be.

7. BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that all believers are entitled to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit which is given by God to empower the believer to live out the Christian life.

8. WATER BAPTISM AND COMMUNION

We believe that it is the duty of every believer to make a public declaration of their faith through baptism in water. Following the example of Jesus, we are fully immersed, symbolizing our spiritual death and burial, and then we are raised to live in Christ.

We also celebrate Communion as instituted by Jesus at the ‘last supper’. As a symbol of the sacrifice of Jesus, the juice and bread are to remind us of the price that Jesus paid in order to bring man back to God.

9. THE LOCAL CHURCH, LIGHT BEARERS, FRATERNITIES AND THERE MISSION

We believe that the local church is God’s PRIMARY method for spreading His message of hope and love. We support missionaries, ministries, Fraternities, Sororities and Masonic organizations of like-minded ways to bring the message of Jesus to a lost and dying world. We will do this in any way we can, including via Online, peer to peer based experiences. We are determined to fulfill our mission, to meet God’s people wherever they are. (Mobile phone, iPad, iPhone, Computer, Bricks and Mortar, on the ground, in the streets.)

10. DIVINE HEALING

We believe that the sacrifice of Jesus not only brought us back into spiritual relationship with God, but that God heals our physical bodies as well. We believe that the prayer of faith offered in the name of Jesus can heal us in spirit, mind and body.

11. MINISTRY

We believe in the ministry of every believer to bring the Gospel to the world and to serve in the local church. We also believe in the calling of the full-time vocational online ministry.
