No Stopping in the Valley!

Let us open in personal prayer…Thank you Father God for continuing to work on me and for NOT giving up on me! I stand tall, inspired and empowered for YOU, myself, my family, and for all! Thank YOU for blessing my family, friends, brothers and others!

Although I don’t know what the future holds, I have NO concerns for tomorrow! I trust YOU have prepared me well for the purpose and will yield me safe travels!

Although perfection of character is NOT of this world, I strive to become as close as I can each day. I will hold you as my compass and guide in all things. Protect, prosper and inspire my family and friends…and finally Father God, I thank you most for making me…me. Amen.

Ok, let’s get into this a little….

As Christians, in order to get to that better place, we must go through the valley! That wilderness or barren place where no man should dwell; yet through these travels through the valley, man learns who he is, who to trust and who to count on. Often we find ourselves in the valley discouraged to continue…though once broken on our knees we ask for guidance, find ourselves inspired, and encouraged with a compass in God which delivers us from the valley’s grip.

23:1-6 Confidence in God’s grace and care. – “The Lord is my shepherd.” In these words, the believer is taught to express his satisfaction in the care of the Great Pastor of the universe, the Redeemer and Preserver of men! Thou, oh God knoweth our down sitting and uprising and understandeth our thoughts are far off. Shield and defend us against the evil intentions of our enemies and support us on the trials and afflictions we are destined to endure while traveling through this veil of tears.

**Psalm 23:4King(KJV) – Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

In detail let’s look at this…

You see, death lies like a dark valley that must be passed in going from one transition in life to the other. But even in this there are words which lessen the terror. It is but the shadow of death: here me……the shadow of a serpent will NOT sting, nor the shadow of a sword kill. It is a valley, hear me…deep indeed, dark, and miry; YES, BUT.. the valley is often fruitful; once in the valley, most people find themselves, new talents, new interests, new ways to live and survive. They become smarter, they become encouraged, they find the skill sets to survive, when they otherwise would have never found them-which helps them to succeed once they get through the valley; henceforth, the valley can be fruitful if one appreciated the lesson through the transition of the darkness. Just remember… It is a walk THROUGH it! You shall NOT be lost in this valley, but get safely to the mountain on the other side. The shadow of death is a king of terrors to many, but not to the sheep of Christ! You will survive it! Learn in it and press through it!!!

Key word- THROUGH!!! Don’t give up in the valley, keep it moving! Keep pushing! Fight to get through the valley, stop those things that keep you stuck in the valley, accept responsibility, stop leaning on worldly vessels, Use God’s guidance given, make the changes necessary in direction and power your way THROUGH the valley with confidence, knowing you are protected!

Oh, how powerful you are. Just press forward believing it!

Press on knowing you are powerfully made, standing strong, loved, loving, forgiven, forgiving and encouraged!

I know the valley can be tough, but you’ve got to wake up every morning knowing and believing you’re going to win! Step forward in Faith!

All, have a wonderful Sunday and a powerful next week!
