Peace of Mind!

Peace of mind – the absence of mental stress or anxiety

You know…Peace of mind from our Father is something money simply can NOT Buy! IT CAN’T!!! So don’t lose sight of the people with extraordinarily big hearts who have helped you ease your burdens, see a better day, a better way or a place to stay! They’re your true treasure!

Giving a man a fish to eat is a good thing! It is!..he will eat for the night…but teaching him to Fish…especially with an open heart, teaches him well! Now that’s the way! He will eat for a lifetime and may even feed you someday! 😉

Let’s follow God’s lead in all things… Trying to be popular with man…will steer you away from God’s plans for you! A Christ-centered approach will assist in anchoring you in the Lord’s way! Grace is not a ticket to continue sin…but what’s given to us through the Lord’s unconditional love and forgiveness. So forgive.

Now….how do we obtain peace of mind…

Here are a few thoughts:

Watch a good movie or TV program.
Be with someone you truly love.

Read a good book.

Exotic beech front vacation to experience some sort of mental numbness and forgetting your work and day-to-day everyday life activities

Try to find that deep sleep where you are not aware of anything.

Ok…stay with me…now here are a few of my more serious personal suggestions:

– Try not to read bash news or watch negative/ratchet television

– Stay away from negative conversations and negative people.

– Don’t hold grudges, learn to forget and forgive.

– Except what cannot be changed and don’t dwell on the past.

– Learn to be more patient and tolerant of family, friends and coworkers and don’t take everything so personally.

– Learn to focus more on you, your happiness and your health. A happy mind is a peaceful mind.

The Lord tells us to cast all worries on Him and that No WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US STALL PROSPER!

Now our Father gives us guidance here…

“We can confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?’”—Hebrews 13:6

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”—Philippians 4:6-7

“I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”—Psalm 34:4

“Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.”—Psalm 42:5

“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”—Matthew 6:34

“We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.”—2 Corinthians 4:8-9

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and loving kindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”—Psalm 23:1-6

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”—1 Peter 5:5-7

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”—Revelation 21:4
