Blessing of Friendship

We all have friends who, from time to time, we lean on too much, under appreciate, but are nevertheless down for each other through thick and thin. You know…Friendship is like a garden. It’s beautiful when watered and tended to with attention, love, care of prayers, hugs, tears and cheers, but will wither, dry up and die if left unattended…. Be careful not to lean too hard, in life, love, or work environments on friends…remember, they have their own sets of issues as well….we all need a shoulder from time to time, and that’s ok and what good friends are there for…want a good friend? Be a good friend! Call them today, say hello, how are you, what’s good in your life…then listen, encourage and inspire…breathe LIFE into your friendships, not negativity, stop gaps and childish competitive road blocks and shade… Friends lift each other UP when they can’t lift themselves! They make you smile, when you’ve forgotten how to crease your face to pleasantries thereof (smiling)! Be there for each other when you need nothing at all, send out a hello, how you doing, pat on the back, let’s go fishing or shopping at the mall.

Believe not only in yourself, but believe in your friends as well, for it is in the eyes of your friends that you discover yourself. Real friends are those who, when you feel you’ve made a fool of yourself, don’t feel you’ve done a permanent job. 😉 Lord knows I personally have too many of these examples…both ways..:)

A true friend never gets in the way unless they see you’re falling down, they stick to you like glue, in fact… just like peanut butter and jelly stay back to back, just like that!

The Lord tells us that Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

Support each other, encourage each other, Stand tall by each other, pray together, embrace your families together, travel together, learn and teach together, and stand together before God for what is good and loving in his name and prosper together! Smile often, laugh long, enjoy each other’s company for life is too short and today’s happiness is not promised for tomorrow! Consider yourself blessed to have such a great friend/friends in your life, especially those whose ears are ever open to your cries when you are afflicted. Brotherly love, relief and truth is truly the glue to a mutually beneficial friendship from either of you.

Proverbs 18:24
A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 17:17
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

Have an outstanding and wonderful Sunday God Bless you all!
